Finding Courage To Start All Over Again

Dear Readers,

It is good to be back.

After what seemed like a year-long hiatus from blogging, I realised that I needed to make time for this little side passion that I used to have. And that time is Now.

Trust me, many a time did it cross my mind to publish new content, but many more internal thoughts pushed me further and further away from doing just so. Call it procrastination, lack of inspiration, or perhaps that lingering fear – that what I may write would simply not be interesting enough.

So why now?

To be honest, I have you readers to thank. Little did I know that there are some of you out there who actually look forward to my random writings. I’ve had, on some occasions, when the topic of my blog would strike a conversation – but alas the question, “Why hadn’t you written anything recently?”.

Although it pains me to admit, whatever inner thoughts that has driven me away from writing, this question has now given me a renewed purpose – and I have YOU to thank. Thank you for reigniting that light in me that I thought had lost its glimmer.

Most recently, I’d also learnt something new from a leader whom I really look up to; and that is, “working backwards to your elevator pitch”. By being succinct and purposeful in the messages and ideas one is trying to convey, and to delivering an impactful outcome; these would be the key components that will inspire my blog-writing moving forward.

So, dear readers…

Thank you for giving me space, for returning me to my space, and for your patience. I have a few topics penned down in the works (please, hold me accountable!), so do look forward to more purposeful writing and content real soon.

Warmest wishes,
Steph~

“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be.

There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing.

We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view.

I hope you live a life you’re proud of.

If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.”
