Hi! I am Stephanie!
I’ve just started this blog towards the end of August 2020 as part of developing my professional portfolio. I have always enjoyed penning down my thoughts and envisioned this being a platform where I can share both my experiences in the field of radiation therapy and also my side passions – baking in particular.
What you will find in this blog are real-life stories about my ‘accidental’ profession as a radiation therapist, individuals who have had inspired me along my journey in life and also my passion for baking.
More than anything, I hope that my personal insights into the radiation therapy profession could shed some light and perhaps inspire you (the reader) to consider RT as a career path. Or, if you are here to simply learn more about me, or would like to uncover the recipes from my quirky bakes – please reach out to me anytime!
A little more about me…
I grew up in a pretty, small(ish) hometown of Malacca in Malaysia. I met my husband, Leon there and have since moved to Kuala Lumpur and subsequently Singapore as part of my career advancement. Apart from work-life and baking, I am also an avid lover of everything bunny! I have a personal collection of all things bunny-themed from my travels and also gifts from close friends. I also enjoy reading journals, travelling and watching movies.
My personal and professional dream is to help make a difference in the world of radiation therapy. I aim to one day complete my doctoral studies in this field as well.
